Summer 2010 Undergraduate Research Set to Begin

May 1, 2010 - The selection process has been completed for the summer 2010 undergraduate research programs at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences. The Short-Term Educational Experiences for Research (STEER) is funded by the National Institutes of Environmental Health Sciences of the National Institutes of Health. Its goal is to attract talented science undergraduates to graduate research careers in the environmental health sciences. Research Experiences for UND Undergraduates (REFUNDU) enhances the INBRE initiative to attract talented basic and behavioral science undergraduates to professional careers in the health sciences. Both programs provide a 10-week summer research experience under the direction of selected faculty members at the medical school.
