The Seventh Annual ND INBRE Undergraduate Research Symposium was held Friday, October 23, 2015 at the Alerus Center in Grand Forks, ND.  One hundred and fifty faculty and students from throughout the state attended the meeting.  This included project directors and undergraduates from all tribal colleges in North Dakota that participated in the inaugural year of the Native American Research Centers for Health (NARCH) grant.  The morning session was devoted to providing information on ND INBRE core facilities and capacity building programs.  The afternoon poster session, with ninety-nine posters,  highlighted the research of our undergraduate and graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.

The ND INBRE Annual Meeting was held in conjunction with the American Indian Health Research Conference (AIHRC).  The 2015 Keynote Speaker was Dorothy A. Rhoades, MD, MPH, the Director of American Indian Cancer Research Initiatives for the Peggy and Charles Stephenson Cancer Center and serves as a hospitalist and academic faculty in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.
